Wash your hands… it’s cold and flu season!

img_20161017_193606Wash your hands often and keep your hands away from your face; two of the most important things you can do to help keep you and your family safe, and to keep from spreading germs! Cover a sneeze with a tissue – not your hands, and stay at home from work or school if you are sick.

Your hands touch more infected items than you can imagine… stair railings, magazines at the doctor’s office, the safety bar on the bus or subway – picking up every germ between hither and yon. Wash your hands and keep them away from your face, because that is how gazillions of germs enter your system.

Wash your hands well for at least 10 seconds. Lather up well and then rinse.

If you are worried about using bar soap, don’t be. The odds of a bar of soap tranferring germs is not likely. Take a gander at this article from the New York Times: http://www.nytimes.com/2007/07/10/science/10qna.html?_r=0

Stay safe and take good care of you and your family!
